Hey My name is Charielle ( SHARE-E-ELLE) I'm in my second year at njcu and I just recently
turned 21. I'm in my second year at NJCU an majoring in Illustraion. I like to sometimes stray from
the norms and be as different and creative as I can. I want to make my own comics in the future, and tell and illustrate amazing stories to share with the world.
My role in media is probably like any others. I use facebook, twitter, instagram, read books, and watch tv. As much as communicating with friends and family is nice, I like it better when I get to see them in real life. The media has helped built much of who I am as person by exposing to me all that's being created and what's happening. I think the media is both an ally and enemy to the public, or depending on how one chooses to use the media. Media images are expressions of one's views, thoughts, expressions, and opinions like memes for example.
But also media helps people to get creative, this is what I like to use types of media for, to be creative, and spread my artistic flows to others. Like this quote from David Bowie relates to me alot, because even though I don't have my whole future mapped out perfectly, I want to have a fulfilling and fun life while I'm getting there.
People use the media for anything, to get ahead. Like the regretable President Trump used mass media attention to get where he is now because he became a spectacle for people to want more of him. The media just ate him all up and now there's the thing with his inauguration audience. The media likes to mock the fact that there were more people at Obama's inaugaration than Trump's and people know this. However the new white house officals like to say otherwise like this guy saying there were tons of people at the new presidents inaugaration. http://money.cnn.com/2017/01/21/media/sean-spicer-press-secretary-statement/index.html
But those images wont go away, the media resisting the age of Trump will make sure of that.
